Edward F. Sparkowski

Ed Sparkowski brings over four decades of financial services industry experience to the leadership role at Diversified. In addition to his general management duties, Ed serves as the company’s chief financial consultant and executive director of business development. Ed began his financial services career as a financial counselor at CIGNA Individual Financial Services. He undertook his first executive role as Vice President of Sales for Diversified Individual Brokerage Inc. in 1986, managing a broad scope of life and health insurance products for both commercial and individual accounts. Ed later served as President & CEO of Benefits Planning Inc., directing comprehensive start-up and business development operations for the life and health insurance marketer. His leadership experience also includes roles as Vice President, Director of Financial Services for Litchfield Insurance Group and Regional Director and Divisional Vice President for MONY / AXA Partners.
Ed is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a Certified Insurance Consultant (CIC). He is a licensed broker for life, health and variable annuities products, and holds NASD licenses 6, 7, 22, 24, 63 and 65.

LCJ serves as the Director of Advanced Markets at Diversified, bringing 28 years of deep case consulting and specialized experience. Widely recognized as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) he partners with advisors nationwide to design sophisticated strategies, including buy-sell arrangements, executive benefit plans, and estate liquidity solutions — for business owners, family enterprises, and high-net-worth individuals who demand more than off-the-shelf planning. He helps advisors by consulting them on their most complex insurance cases, specifically helping the advisor with navigating the client’s Counsel and CPA relationship by getting the entire team to the table early in the process. What sets Lee apart is a rare combination of technical depth and real-world practicality. He understands that the best strategy is one that advisors can confidently present and clients can clearly understand. Lee has been a breakout speaker at financial planning industry conferences since 2006 and is consistently a go-to resource for wealth advisors on insurance-related questions. He has currently trained over 8,000 advisors on risk management strategies. Lee has a passion for education and community involvement, which led him to serve as President of the New York City Financial Planning Association in 2016 after many years on the Board. He currently serves on the Board of Savvy Ladies, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women through financial literacy. In his free time, Lee enjoys spending time with his family wine tasting, attending sporting events, taking cooking classes and seeking new sushi restaurants.
Trevor Saunders
VICE PRESIDENT CFP® , CLU, ChFC

Trevor Saunders serves as Diversified’s VP of sales and brokerage manager. Building on a solid foundation of small business management experience, Trevor honed his insurance and financial service expertise with AXA; first in the underwriting department, then moving to the position of National Account Manager where he developed and improved the carrier relationships with several distinguished marketing organizations. Trevor is a graduate of the AXA Group Management Program, jointly conducted by the Wharton School of Business and AXA University, and holds certifications as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) from The American College. He is a licensed broker for life, health and variable annuities products, and holds NASD licenses 6, and 63. Trevor joined Diversified as a valued member of the firm’s sales and management team in 2012.
